Coller Capital, the world’s largest dedicated secondary manager, has officially launched its Coller Private Equity Secondaries Fund in Australia. This marks the firm’s first dedicated evergreen fund designed specifically for the Australian private wealth sector, offering investors a streamlined pathway to a diversified portfolio of private equity investments.
Jake Elmhirst, Partner and Head of Private Wealth Secondaries Solutions at Coller Capital, expressed enthusiasm about the launch, stating, “We are excited to bring Coller Capital’s 34 years of expertise in private equity secondaries to Australia’s wealth sector. The launch forms part of Coller Capital’s broader strategy to expand its Private Wealth Secondary Solutions business. It follows the recent opening of the firm’s Melbourne office and the appointment of David Hallifax as the Head of Australia and New Zealand Private Wealth Distribution.
