SS&C Technologies Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC) today announced that Arrowpoint Investment Partners, a newly established multi-strategy hedge fund firm based in Singapore, has selected SS&C GlobeOp to handle the administration of its flagship $1 billion multi-strategy fund. This fund currently operates with 18 portfolio managers based in Hong Kong and Singapore, deploying a diverse range of strategies.
Arrowpoint Investment Partners, founded by Jonathan Xiong, the former co-CEO of Millennium’s Asia operations, integrates both fundamental and quantitative strategies across equities, fixed income, and commodities. This structure enables more precise performance control across its investments in Asia. The firm’s approach is distinct in that it avoids siloed management of trading teams, instead blending various strategies to generate high-quality, risk-adjusted returns.
Woon Young Jeong, Chief Operating Officer of Arrowpoint, emphasized the firm’s need for a fund administrator with deep expertise in managing complex asset classes, multi-manager vehicles, and intricate fee structures. “Our philosophy is to leverage technology to deliver consistent returns, and we needed a partner who could manage the complexity of our fund’s operations. As multi-strategy funds continue to attract investor interest, the complexities surrounding multiple asset classes, reporting demands, and fee structures can create operational challenges.
