As of 6:50 pm ET (10:50 pm GMT), Dow Jones Futures had edged up by 0.1%, S&P 500 Futures remained steady, and Nasdaq 100 Futures showed a slight 0.1% dip.
In after-hours trading, Dell Technologies Inc (NYSE: DELL) surged by an impressive 7.5% after the company reported its Q2 earnings per share (EPS) of $1.74, surpassing expectations that were at $1.14. The company also reported revenues of $22.9 billion, exceeding the anticipated $20.86 billion.
MongoDB (NASDAQ: MDB) posted a notable gain of 4.1%, reporting an EPS of $0.93 compared to the expected $0.46. Additionally, the company’s revenues were reported at $423.8 million, surpassing the estimated $393.68 million.
However, Broadcom Inc (NASDAQ: AVGO) experienced a decline of 4.8% after reporting Q4 EPS of $10.54, slightly below the expected $10.43. The company’s revenues reached $8.88 billion, which was slightly higher than the estimated $8.85 billion.
VMware Inc (NYSE: VMW) faced a 1.7% decrease after reporting an EPS of $1.83, slightly exceeding the expected $1.71. The company’s revenue for the period amounted to $3.41 billion, just below the expected $3.46 billion.
Lululemon Athletica Inc (NASDAQ: LULU) saw a gain of 1.1% after reporting an EPS of $2.68, surpassing the expected $2.53. The company’s revenues were $2.2 billion, slightly exceeding the anticipated $2.17 billion.
In Friday’s trading session, market participants will closely monitor key economic indicators, including average hourly earnings, nonfarm payrolls, unemployment rates, as well as the Markit and ISM manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Indices (PMIs).
