US stock futures exhibited a mixed performance during Tuesday’s evening trading session, as investors remained vigilant following the third consecutive session of gains from major indices. Their attention has now shifted to Wednesday’s highly anticipated release of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes and the monthly Producer Price Index (PPI) data.
As of 6:30 PM Eastern Time (10:30 PM GMT), Dow Jones Futures were slightly down by 0.1%, S&P 500 Futures were trading flat, and Nasdaq 100 Futures showed a modest gain of 0.1%.
In extended trading, E2open Parent Holdings Inc (NYSE: ETWO) experienced a notable decline of 13% after the company reported Q2 earnings per share (EPS) of $0.04, falling short of the expected $0.05 per share. Additionally, the company’s revenues came in at $158.2 million, missing the expected $159.66 million mark.
Looking ahead to Wednesday’s trading session, market participants will be closely monitoring the release of the FOMC meeting minutes and the PPI data. Furthermore, speeches from Federal Reserve officials Bowman, Bostic, and Waller will be closely watched by investors.
During regular trading on Tuesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced by 134.7 points, or 0.4%, to reach 33,739.3. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 gained 22.6 points, or 0.5%, to close at 4,358.2, and the NASDAQ Composite recorded an increase of 78.6 points, or 0.6%, to settle at 13,562.8.
In the bond markets, United States 10-Year Treasury yields stood at 4.657%.
