At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 index demonstrated resilience, climbing 0.69%.
Among the standout performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb), experiencing a noteworthy increase of 1.72% or 175.00 points, concluding the trading day at 10,365.00. Simultaneously, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) showcased a rise of 1.68%, adding 170.00 points to finish at 10,290.00, and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) saw a late trade surge of 1.64%, equivalent to 5.90 points, reaching 366.70.
Conversely, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) experienced a decline of 2.03%, or 3.60 points, closing at 173.30, making it one of the session’s underperformers. In commodities trading, crude oil for January delivery experienced a 1.36% dip, amounting to a decrease of 1.05 to reach $76.05 per barrel. Simultaneously, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.15%, or 0.94, landing at $81.02 per barrel. The December Gold Futures contract also registered a minor decline of 0.02%, or 0.45, settling at $1,992.35 per troy ounce.
In currency markets, USD/DKK showed a marginal decrease of 0.13% to 6.84, while EUR/DKK remained unchanged at 7.46.
